On Sunday July Second, 1995, A group of Burlington friends and musicians performed at Club Toast under the name "Lavendar Disaster." This one-time-only performance showcased the songwriting of Michael Barrett, with each song in the set featuring a different lineup in a revolving order. Not more than 50 people showed up because Phish was playing that night at Sugarbush (or some similar large outdoor venue) and basically everyone in town was there. Thanks goes to Kelly Freidinger for playing the spooky organ chords in-between songs during the sometimes lengthy changes. Jeffrey Baron came up from New York City to perform on a number of these songs. The show was highlighted by a final song by a reunited Guppyboy. The show was recorded off the soundboard by Quennie. The original idea for these songs was to record each one with the different band members onto an 8 track afterwards, but it never happened and only a soundboard tape of the live show exists.
