Guppylove: A Tribute to Guppyboy

These six guppycovers go out to them..." AND THEY CALL IT... Guppylove. That's code for the advancement of Guppyboy - billed as "one of the most creative yet underrated bands Burlington, Vermont has ever seen." To toast the group, which is now based in Chicago, five local bands got together to make a tape of Guppyboy covers. To celebrate the tape release, they are hosting a party at the Middle Earth Cafe in Winooski on August 14. Hear Chin Ho!, Hover, Jedd Kettler, Spray 9, P.Y.G. Roast - and Guppyboy! - live and on memorex. The $5 tape will be on sale Monday at Pure Pop, Sound Effects and Buch Spieler in Monpelier.
