The goal was to create a :30 open for the pilot episode of an American muscle car restoration show. The premise for the show is that country duo Mongomery Gentry take an old run down muscle car and rush to fix it up to take it on tour with them. The footage was assembled to tell the story in a linear fashion, first by introducing the viewer to a series of slick vehicles from a muscle car museum. The viewer then sees the run down hull of the car to be restored, followed by a montage of shots from the garage during the overhaul process. The viewer is teased in seeing close up shots of the final car makeover, and is accentuated by the car peeling out and fusing into the animated logo. The footage was given a film grain and cut to an upbeat Montgomery Gentry song and enhanced with animated fire streaks, created using Trapcode's 3-D stroke and DigiEffects Delirium Fire. The logo was created using Zaxwerks 3D Invigorator with a chrome look over a rugged black leather studded background. We threw in a wrench and some bling for good luck.
